| Object Usage | The Directory currently has an entry for each organisation in the state sector, and for local authorities. By convention, the term 'state sector' refers to the organisations in the annual financial statements of the Government prepared under the Public Finance Act 1989. In addition, well known sub-organisations are listed as Independent Brands. In all other cases, apart from school boards and some Ministerial bodies which are excluded, the entry includes head office details. |
